The fire at 49th st...

Hey Guys...Hello...hello...As most of you are aware there was a fire that effected 3 homes and several families and one of those homes was mine. Thank god all got out safely. I can't even begin to express how grateful, lifted and inspired I am by all the love and support we have received from friends, families and neighbors...I am just blown away. Thank you...

For my active clients...I know you all need to go to work...and so do I...With that said I need to collect keys and contact info. I plan to have things from a WGO perspective back up and running as of Monday August 10th. The hikes/woods trips are on hold till Thursday, August 13th. Please contact me via e-mail for further details and for the key drop off plan for the next few days. Thank you so very much for your support. We are all gonna get through this... Dave.

Day 1 for Ms. Cathrine The Great

Hi All...Hello...Hello! I have been wanting to get back to telling stories about the dogs and our day through the site and beyond your note pads for what seems like forever now. I finally have gotten to that place...yeah!!!

Allow me to introduce...Cathrine The Great...A.K.A. Catie the Dane. She is a baby, just over 4 months old. She is with us 5 days a week for her morning romp with the gang. I think it safe to say that Catie will make a "big" impact on things and for sure be a wonderful addition to the WGO Pack! (story continued below pictures)

Our first day begins like many other first days with a somewhat nervous mama waiting for our arrival. All you WGO Mama's know exactly what I mean...hahaha. I bring along Tucker the Lab and Molly my Bull Dog, two of my crew that are just the right role models for our newest kid.

A ring of the door bell and there they are... Ms. Catie and Mom ready for their big day! A hand shake and a hello for mom and a look from Ms. Catie "Hey what about me!"...our first lesson of the day. We say hello to people first when meeting in the old fashioned way... eye contact, a happy hello and even a hand shake but we let the dog say hello in the doggy way. Not with our eyes or our voice or our hands but with our calm energy and let the dog greet us in it's way. Through the nose...curious...but most importantly...calmly and with a relaxed state of mind. If we all remember to do this all the time when meeting and greeting dogs and their people we would have much calmer dogs everywhere we go. Now if only I could remember this I would have much better first dates!: ) And as you can see Ms. Catie had a wonderful fun filled adventure on her very first day.
